I'm Stressed and I Can't Stop Eating...


Victoria,
Thank you for being here and reminding me to keep my eye on my health.
I don’t know what’s happening to me. I have been consumed with this recession stuff and I have been on a non-stop slow graze cycle and I can’t seem to stop eating.

It’s so strange. Nothing has changed for me financially but deep down inside I feel nervous and anxious. I have to get ready for a family social and I want to lose ten pounds, slim down my hips and thighs, feel great and not be so wigged out.

I don’t want to start the New Year like this. Help me please!

Marcelle, Welcome to the negative news networks missions. I completely understand your anxiety and nervousness. If you watch news for five minutes or listen to the radio for ten minutes, you have every reason to be stressed out. All they talk about is loss, lack, fear, sacrifice, debt and the R word.

It is what it is and we all have to find ways to not be emotionally stressed by their produced version of what’s going on.

TAKE YOUR LIFE BACK
YOU have to get back into your personal desires, dreams and goals that you had before. NO one can stop you, some may try to slow you down, distract you or even try to persuade you to become paralyzed by their analysis.

If your income has not personally changed, you should be celebrating and not worrying. You should be singing “hallelujah”!! NO one can stop what God has for you and no one can derail your success. If something is lost, then something better is on the way for you. Don’t get caught up in living your life based on other people’s opinions or policies. Every situation has two sides.

Here are few tips to stay UP and highly charged about your future.

What the mind dwells upon, the body acts upon

Express Gratitude - Every day stop for just a few moments and in a loving and enthusiastic voice, list some of the things you are grateful for. It will change your mind, uplift your spirits and enhance your blood chemistry. What you are grateful for, more shows up.

Recharge Yourself – Get re-inspired about your goals, dreams and desires. Get out your dream board or get some pictures of your destination, outcome or desire. Put it up or leave it out someplace where you can see it and affirm it every day. Your mind sees in pictures so to have something your want will help you stay focused and motivated.

Avoid Negativity – Get the facts your need like the weather or traffic and then turn the station or turn off the negative media. Delete unnecessary emails after you get the facts. I don’t believe you should operate ignorant or blind to true statements, I just don’t believe you should let them run your emotional state.

This Too shall Pass – Like everything in life, this season shall pass. After it does, what do you want to look like, feel like, operate like? Yes, you want to look fantastic, feel alive and operate with total joy and vitality.

Slim Down Those Thighs

If you want to get rid of unnecessary, unhealthy, and embarrassing fat, flab or cellulite then you have to get your butt in gear!

Give It Up -
Give away all the junk food in your kitchen, car, close, desk or workspace. Out of site, out of mind. It’s easier NOT to be tempted than to try and use willpower.

Cardio – Get to moving and burn up that ugly stored fat on your lower body by doing fat burning cardio 5-6 days a week in 30-60 minute increments. Try power walking, treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical machine, tread walker, step class and low impact aerobics.

Lower Body Toning Exercises –
The best lower body exercises are lunges, leg lifts – standing and lying on the floor, plies’ and all the exercises listed in my Thin Thighs Program. I love that program; I use it myself four days a week. I was just at the gym in a corner and two ladies came over and begged me to show them what I was doing! It was really fun.

Eat Low Glycemic Get the simple carbs out of your diet and learn how to eat and become a fat burning machine. It has now been scientifically proven that eating a low-glycemic diet will help you lose fat, prevent disease and give you amazing energy.

Beauty Sleep- Get 7- 8 hours of sleep every night. It rejuvenates your mind, body and soul, restores your brain, rebuilds your muscles, tissue and restructures your cells.

Water- Drink 4-6 Quarts of water a day to stay hydrated, healthy, detoxed and cleansed and refreshed.

Come on you can do this. Become a strong self-directed and disciplined person. You decide your feelings and directions, not the media.

Start today to doing the simple, but powerful suggestions I listed and you will start to instantly feel more confident and in control.

The Power Is In the Decision.

Decide today that you are going to live the life of your dreams and have the body you want. Then do take immediate action! Once you decide, the answers will flow systematically.

Have a fun time at your family social and let no one move you off your path.

"It is a miracle that I am standing before you wearing these skimpy red Nike shorts with out a hint of self-consciousness or shame. Two years ago I would have never dreamed of this day. Victoria:
I have read over your wake up call several times and realized that I too had a wake up call. I am a secretary employed at a hospital and they call codes that we have to respond to example code red = fire. On this particular day a code was called on the 4th floor of the hospital and of course you cannot take the elevator.

Now I work on the ground floor which meant I had to climb 5 flights of stairs to get to the 4th floor, when I got to the 4th floor, I was breathing so hard, my heart was pounding, I was sweating, I couldn't even talk, I felt like lying on the floor, but I made my way to a chair and collapsed. I got a book and started fanning myself, and trying to catch my breath. With everyone asking "are you alright"? And I could only shake my head, "yes". I of course waited and took the elevator back to the ground floor. But later I begin to think about what the doctor told me on my last visit. "Heart disease runs in your family and you could stand to lose 20 or more pounds", when it came to weight I would always put 125lbs. but I weighed 158lbs.

After that incident I joined a health club, and started in the low impact aerobics classes Monday thru Thursday "faithfully". I noticed that I had more stamina and energy, and begun losing weight and my thighs did not rub together... joy, joy. From this, 2 years ago I started an aerobics class at my church 2 days a week, I had instructors come and teach the class, then I was encouraged to become an instructor which I will become certified in a few months.

We have gone from chair aerobics, to regular aerobics, to step aerobics, and to strength training. I have 2 other young ladies that work with me, and we all enjoy it so much. And my doctor is pleased with my weight, and so am I. I love your dvd's and use your instructions to teach my classes, I love the way you explain what you are doing and why. Thanks for all that you do, because you are an encouragement to me.
